How to come

The Sunny Side Apartment and Boarding House is located in a quiet area at the western part of Munich in the district called Laim, one of the most historic parts in the city of Munich.

Whether for holidays, short-term or long term stays, whether for private or business travel, our serviced apartments are furnished that you feel like at home. All kinds of shops, public transportation, banks (cash machine), hairdressers, cinema and a nice beer garden can be reached in a few minutes walk from our boarding house. Culturally and historically interested people have a few minutes walk to the historical places and buildings for examle the middle age church of St. Ulrich or the Laimer Schlössl (castle).

A arrange during time of the Munich Oktoberfest it is perfect to stay in our house. Just 10 minutes and you are at the beer festival. You can be sure that you can enjoy the time between the busy hours in your quiet apartment.

The Munich S-Bahn was voted by customers as one of the best in Germany and it is operated by Deutsche Bahn AG. The station Laim is 5 stops from Munich Central Station. Surrounded is a very friendly and save area. Where you can find easy somebody if you need held to find your way to the place where you want to go.

If you arrive by car or motorbike please use the A96 motorway or the A8 motorway from Stuttgart - both are equally close to our serviced apartments.

At our own private underground parking are spaces available for you. During your stay you can rent parking spot for 5€ per night. Alternatively there are plenty of car park spaces close to our house.

From the airport you can reach the SunnySide apartments directly by S-Bahn S1 Station Munich Laim. You walk about 5 to 10 minutes or go by taxi for about 7€.

The S-Bahn station in Munich, Laim is approximately 5 to 10 minutes from the SunnySide Apartments.

From there you can get only one station out of town, the railway station Munich-Pasing as ICE railway station. Nationwide trains to Stuttgart and Augsburg stop here. Likewise, numerous regional trains and IC.

Please ensure that a rail booking that you book Munich-Laim, because then your train ticket is also your ticket for the S-Bahn.

If you travel more than 100km, so the city rate shown on your ticket and include the S-Bahn ride as well.
